Head of Methane Removal Policy Engagement at Spark Climate Solutions
Daphne Wysham is the CEO of Methane Action where she is working with others on putting in place a fair and binding global methane agreement.
A former Fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, D.C., where she worked for 20 years, Daphne has worked since the mid-1990s on strategic research and advocacy at the intersection of climate justice and sustainable economies.
Daphne has collaborated over three decades with renowned climate scientists, transformative policymakers, elected and government officials, social entrepreneurs, environmental justice leaders, Indigenous Peoples, and journalists around the goals of climate justice and action.
A former fellow and board member at the Washington, DC-based Institute for Policy Studies, and a fellow at Amsterdam’s Transnational Institute, where she developed a global campaign to successfully challenge international financial institutions and export credit agencies to reorient their energy lending away from fossil fuels, Daphne also serves on the Board of Friends of the Earth-Nigeria.
