Submit Freedom of Information Act Request to EPA

On September 14, 2022, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rejected CPR Initiative’s June 16 Petition to Phase Out Greenhouse Gas Pollution. One of the Agency’s reasons was that it was doing enough already under existing rules and programs to address the problem.

Today, CPR Initiative issued a demand for records (attached below) showing how EPA reasonably expects to get to “net zero” emissions by 2050 without invoking the powerful authority Congress conveyed to it under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
